Installing an Ad Hoc iPhone application
Installing an Ad Hoc iPhone application:
If you received a .zip file open it first to extract the contents
You will have two files; one that ends with .app and one that ends with .mobileprovision
Open iTunes
Drag the .app & .mobileprovision files to the left hand column of the iTunes window
When “Library” becomes highlighted, drop the files into iTunes
If you are prompted about replacing an existing file, click OK to replace it
Sync your iPhone or iPod Touch - iTunes will automatically install the application
If you have problems installing or have a previous version installed:
On the iPhone/iPod Touch:
Press & hold on the application’s icon until all of the icons start to wiggle
Tap the red X in the upper left-hand corner of the icon to delete the application
In iTunes:
Click on the application’s icon
Hit the “Delete” key to delete the application
If you are prompted about deleting the file, click OK to delete it
Follow the “Installing an Ad Hoc iPhone application” instructions
Contact the Developer if you continue to have problems
